Kayaking??
My boyfriend took me to the island last month and we absolutely fell in love with it. I want to take him back next month for his birthday. He has been wanting to go kayaking and I thought the island would be the perfect place! I've seen several websites saying it's available and even found an article on the Mackinac Island Kayaking Company. However, when I called the Mission Resort (the place the business was sort of affiliated with), they didn't know anything about it. I also called the tourism bureau with no luck. Has anyone rented kayaks on the island recently?? Does it even exist anymore??

we are coming to visit the island this weekend. i was there as a child and have always wanted to come back. i can't wait!!!

I hope to visit the island again in the near future. The last time I was there was about 50 years ago. Back then you could rent a carriage and drive it around the island yourself. I'm sure that's not the case today but it was fun then. Lokking forward to seeing the island and how it's changed over so many years.

My hubby and I been coming to mackinac island for then years now. We love it. We come twice a year now. Its so beautiful,I hate leaving there.

Words cannot express how much I missed being with my MIB's this year. For the first time in 10 years I had to miss the trip to Mackinac, but I know I was there in their hearts and minds. I can see us sitting there on the boardwalk with the sun going down, and that feeling of knowing you are with people who really care about you. Mackinac Island has been a place for us to dream, peaceful and serene...home. I love you my MIB's Jul,Jake,Pam. Maybe someday again soon we can do it again. Step off that Star Line Ferry and enter into our heaven on earth and all the magic of Mackinac!

Looks like a wonderful place to live. I am american working in canada would love to work and live there. looking for a home as well.
