I haven't been to Mackinac Island since August of 1970. I'm heading up there this August (34 years later) and I'm really looking forward to it. There is so much I didn't realize that is available to do. There are plenty of books and web information available to study before going to make the most of the trip.

Our children sent us here for our 25th anniversary. We could not believe how beautiful this place was, we are already trying to figure out if this fall would work to go again and see the colors.. I am looking for information on a artist named Carolyn Risk. We purchased some of her paintings, and would like more of them. Could you help us ?

Mackinac is the most magical place in the world for me. For the past four years I have had the incredible opportunity to serve with Troop #147 out of Grand Rapids, Michigan in the Mackinac Island Honor Scouts, serving as Governor Granholm's official honor guard. If anyone has been up about the third week in July, that's our group! We're the only Girl Scouts to wear the uniform from the 1960's. It sets us apart from the rest! I have such incredible experiences, memories, and fun on the island. The workers, residents, and officials have treated us with the upmost respect and kindess, and we truly love Mackinac. As we say when we step off the ferry onto Mackinac...."We're home!"

To begin, I am employeed with jetBlue Airways. I have considerbable travel in this USA under my belt, but Mackinac is by far my favorite experience. Each year my sister and I travel to basque in the smells and exquisit quiet of Mackinac's splendor. Dining on the deck of the fort is an especially sumptious treat. Not only the great food, but the uncomparable view is never to be forgotten. Thanx for being there.

I have absolutely adored visiting Mackinac Island ever since I was an infant. With all its beauty and tourist sites, who WOULDN'T want to visit Mackinac? It's certainly one of my favorite places on earth!

We have a summer home in Cheboygan. Our favorite destination when we are looking for something to do is Mackinac Island. Our most recent visit on Memorial Day allowed us to fulfill a dream of ours. We purchased a lot in Stonecliffe Manor and plan to build our new summer home on the Island! We (and all our friends and relatives!!) are more than excited. We can hardly wait to be islanders!
