I used to come to the island as a child. A few years ago I introduced the island to my husband for our first wedding anniversary. Now he and I can't get enough of the island. We now have a 3 year old who is falling in love with it as much as we have. It is truly one of the best places on earth.

This island truly is one of the Midwest's most beautiful spots to visit. Every year this has been a destination for our family. Each and every experience on the island exceeds the last.

We just returned from Mackinac and we had the most relaxing and awesome trip.
We hadnt visited Mackinac for over 10 yrs and couldnt believe how much it had grown.
We plan on returning again very soon.
Love that place!!!

My visit to Mackinac Island during the Lilac Festival was absolutely wonderful. The Lilacs were gorgeous....and the smell...wow!! My husband and I had a great time at the parade. I would have to say, this is one of my most favorite places to go to unwide and get away from the rat race!

We are coming July 12th to the Grand Hotel for our 50th wedding anniversary. 50 years ago we stayed in room one. We are truly looking forward to this visit!

This is my first trip to Mackinac Island;the reason I came was for the Lilac Festival. I am in awe;it is so beautiful! I will definitely be back,it is truly paradise.

My wife & I traveled to the Island just last week in celebration of our thirtieth wedding anniversary. We could not have found a more beautiful & refreshing place to visit & escape the stress of the daily rat-race back here in Eastern PA. We both have spent a great amount of time on the Jersey shore with all the trappings of being close to the water, but nothing matched the scenery & ambience that we witnessed on Mackinac. We hope the folks 'up-north' realize what a gem they have in their backyard. We will return & have recommended that our children visit also.
