My fiance and I took our first vaction there and loved it, now we will be going there in Aug for our honeymoon. I can't wait. Its the most beautiful place I've been. We will be spending many of our soon to be vactions there.

My husband and I first traveled to the island some years ago on my first visit to Michigan...we've been back every year since! We were married at the Grand Hotel in 1998 and honeymooned on the island, so we've made going each summer near our anniversary a romantic tradition that we now share with our children! I can't wait to stay again!

I have just booked my 3rd trip to Mackanac Island. This place is MAGIC!
I have stayed at the Murray hotel and the Grand Hotel previously and both provided a great place to stay and a memorable experience.
We (this will be my husband's first time) will be staying at Stonecliffe, and we are looking forward to a relaxing, romantic, and wonderful stay. I know we wil not be disappointed!

I just returned fom Mackinac Island. This was my first visit. The weather was perfect and our hotel was so beautiful. We stayed at the Iroquroi on the Beach. I would recomend this to anyone looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable hotel. It was very personalized and the staff was so friendly. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. I prefered Iroquoi over the Grand Hotel since it only has 46 rooms. It feels much more like an Inn. I went with some girlfriends and I can't wait to return with my husband for a romantic getaway.

I JUST LOVE THE GRAND HOTEL. AFTER BEING MY FAVORITE MOVIE IN THE WHOLE WORLD,"SOMEWHERE IN TIME", I JUST FALL IN LOVE ALL OVER AGAIN JUST LOOKING AT THE GRAND HOTEL. JANE AND CHRISTOPHER JUST MADE EXCELLENT CHARACTERS IN THIS MOVIE. YOU JUST CAN'T HELP BUT FALL IN LOVE WITH THE HOTEL. IT IS JUST A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY. THANK YOU AND I HOPE TO VISIT THE GRAND IN A FEW WEEKS TO COME.

We met eight years ago and traveled to Mackinac Island for the first time a year later. We were so impressed by the breathtaking beauty and wonderful people, that we have been spending one or two weeks a year on the Island since then. Last October we spent our honeymoon on Mackinac, and will be going up again this year in August. Mackinac Island has become our second home.

My parents took us to Mackinac Island when we were children. Then my husband and I spent our honeymoon there for a week. We have been back a few times with friends and then were able to take our 7 year old son there this past year. It was magical. I could vacation there every year. There is something about the island that puts you into another time. I love it there and will always try and return.

I was part of the Governer's Honor Guard for the second year this year. It is such a great place to spend a week. I just love the atmosphere and the people. They are so polite. I think everyone should go there at least once in their lives!

My husband and I took our honeymoon on the island and in the city, 12 years ago. We have been there twice by ourselves and have been there with our children 3 times. We will be back in a few months for another visit. It is our favorite place and our children have come to love it just as much!!
