I've been to your island twice now. I was there as a kid and was there this past spring as a 42 year old, the island is a awsome place to see and be on. I hope to do a winter trip someday there possibly during the Christmas holiday shutdown at my job. Mackinac Island is awsome. Thanks.

I have made 4 trips to the island, the most recent with my wife. I cannot think of a place where I would rather visit during the summer. The atmosphere is wonderful, the people are always friendly, and the fudge is tremendous.

I have to be the biggest fan of the Island. I grew up outside of Toledo Ohio, and every weekend ever since I have been 6 weeks old my family and I made trips to the Island. Now that I have moved to Missouri, I am VERY HOMESICK for the sights, sounds, and smells of the island, especially the fudge!!!!!!

Every Spring, I count down the days until I am able to go to Mackinac. We have an anual all Girls weekend every July. Just when we think it can't get better than last year, it does. This year we went back 5 times. It was just so much fun on the island. Nothing compares to the Pink Pony,The Chippewa Hotel,the Horns Bar and of course Myk Rise and his music. This fall we signed up for the Fudge Fest and feather fencing at Stonecliff. It was more fun then we could have imagined. We also attended the Halloween party at the Chippewa. We met so many wonderful people. It was a great season on the island. Only 8 more months until we do it all again. Thank you Island for all the great memories you give me.

I am Mackinac Island's biggest fan, I go there every year and cannot get enough of it. I hope to one day work there and eventually live there. Ask me any question about it and I will know the answer, I am a walking encyclopedia of the island. I encourage anyone who can to visit, and not just for the day, but overnight.

I emailed a friend that my step daughter, Elise, derived her name from the movie, "Somewhere in Time" with Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymour. She wrote back that the movie was filmed on Mackinac Island in Michigan near where she grew up. What a wonderful surprise to find this website when I did a search online; I was able to go on a virtual tour. It would be lovely to visit here with Elise and her dad someday! Thanks for sharing the beauty with the world!

WE HAVE EXPERIENCED THE BEAUTY AND "AWE" OF THE ISLAND IN THE SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL SO FOR CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR WE ARE GIVING EACH OTHER A WINTER GET-AWAY TO THE ISLAND IN JANUARY OR FEBRUARY!!! THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL PLACE TO US. WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THE ISLAND FOR OVER 25 YEARS!!
