7/7/05 We leave today for our second trip to Mackinaw Island. We are bringing my husband's sister and her hubby from Montana this time. It is gorgeous there.

We just went to Mackinac for our honeymoon, and we had the best time of our lives. We will be back! Parasailing was fantastic, we'll do that every time we visit!

Mackinac Island is sheer magic. I have been visiting the Island since I was a child(long ago). Each time I step off the ferry, I feel as if I am coming home. If anyone reading is planning a visit...Please stay overnight on the island. Early mornings and nights on the island are the best. It is a different experience when you stay. Explore the entire island. It is so much more than shops and fudge. (although those are great too.)

My mother and I have been going to Mackinaw City and the Island for over 10 years now. We always look forward to our one week of bonding time there. It is perfect because of all the shopping, being able to bike or walk the island, carriage rides and the list goes on. Oh yeah, eat your heart out with all of that yummy fudge and white fish. My only complaint about this place is that I never wanna leave it is so beautiful! I'll be back July 12th-17th. I'm totally stoked about it. Woohoo!

My wife and I (and now our 2 children) have been to the island every summer for the past 10 years. It is the most relaxing place on earth (even with a 2 yr. old and a 4 yr. old). We are returning Aug. 14 this year and can't wait.

I just wanted to say I have been to Mackinac Island lots of times and I love it. It is the most beautiful place I have ever been to. I love the food, hotels, sites, and most of all the FUDGE. Thanks so much for the very enjoyible vacations. Love the Fudge,

Just wanted to say, I was up in Mackinaw recently, on what was probably the most gorgeous weekend, and had the best time! My 66 year mother and my 9 year old son also went. We had a wonderful time. Thank you soooo much to all that make the Island and Mainland such a great place to visit!

Sher we feel the same way you do. All we talk about is out trip back there. We are already looking forward to next year. Thank you Mackinac.com,we log in everyday to see the Island that has captured our hearts. Someday me and Jake and Sher are going to live on the Island. We love it to much not to. One visit a year is just not enough! Our passion runs to deep,our love for this place is so enormous that something has to change. Thanks for the good time Sher.
