The last time I was on the island was 7 years ago on my Honeymoon. My wife and I had a blast. The carriage ride was great and the ghost stories were awesome. We plan to go back this fall. Its the best trip we ever had. Thanks.

We had such a good time on our visit this year. We love coming to Michigan. We are already planning our trip back next June. We are planning to stay at the Grand next time. We try different places every year. When we are done on the Island we go over to the City and stay there too. We love staying at the Grandview. What a darling little place. Grate rates and even greater views. Everyone should check this place out. You can have a fire on the beach at night, swim in thier heated pool under the stars, make smores and the list of fun things just goes on & on. We love the NORTH! and that's all there is to it. Everyone living up there should not take it for granted. Go see Mackinac Island and also stay in Mackinaw City. You will never regret it. We love you Sher, and are counting down the days till next time.
God Bless Michigan! Until next time, buh by!

My Mom and I enjoyed our yearly week visit during the 4th. We love the Island and it breaks our hearts when we have to leave. We always cry on the ferry ride back to the main land.

My sister and I have been coming to Mackinac Island at least once a year, for the past ten years. Some years we take children and grandchildren, sometimes we go alone, but WE LOVE IT. We try different hotels and inns, and haven't found a bad one yet. For those of you who want to know if it is family-friendly, or kid-friendly, the answer to both is ABSOLUTELY. Kids love this place. Mission Point in particular caters to families with children. Their lobby is huge and a great place to sit just to relax and play cards or read. I've seen that a lot of people worry about the hills. You don't have to climb the hills to enjoy the island. My sister and I are in our sixties now, and we walk a lot, but avoid the steep climbs. We used to walk the entire island when we first started visiting, but we both suffer from knee problems now, so we limit our walking to the level ground. It does not detract from our enjoyment of the island one bit. We Love This Place and your web site is our little boost until we can get back.

I saw the story on Mackinac Is. on the Today Show on NBC. What a beautiful place! No Cars = No Cares! I look forward to visiting as soon as I am able. (PS - I really enjoyed the movie "Somewhere in Time"!)

Mackinac holds a very special place in my heart. My wedding is August 13th 2005 and we will be married on the beach. I am bringing up my family to see the most wonderful Island in the world. I hope they love it as much as I do. If I could live anywhere, Mackinac would be it. I will see you soon. Love you so much Mac!!! Never ever change.

There is no fudge in the whole world better than on Mackinac Island. With all the flavors and great service it is one place that nomatter the age it is just a great place to be. One time I went with my grandparents and even they couldn't stay away from it. I don't know what I would do without Mackinac Island because if there was not there there wouldn't be the fudge.I love Mackinac and its fudge.
Good job with the fudge,

As a child i went to Mackinac Island with my mother and my girl scout troup. Now I'm 18 and am planning my very own trip with my boyfriend. He's never been there and this site totally helped him get an idea of what the island is like. It helped plan every inch of our trip, from what hotel, to what package to the things we are going to do. I'll let you all know how much we enjoyed it and how his first time there was. I'm sure he'll love it since he's a huge history buff and the island is full of it and my ancestors. My ancestors are buried on the island and the metivier inn is part of it all. I love the island!!
