I see the moon and the moon see's me and the moon see's someplace I want to be. God bless the moon, and God bless me, and God bless the place that I want to be, that place of course is Mackinac Island, Michigan! there is no other place on earth that can even compare to the beauty this place holds. Only a true Mack lover can relate to how this place captures your heart and places a charm hold on your heart and never let's it go the second you step off the boat.

Twinkle twinkle little star, how I wish I was siting in Horn's Bar, watching the horse's and people pass by, but all I can do is sit here and cry, and wish for the days to pass on by. I count down the days to when I can leave and come to my Island and sit in the breeze, munch on fudge and ride a bike, and even take a hike, Oh how I sit here and wish on these stars and dream of my vacation but it seems so far.But I will hang in there because I know that these stars will soon turn into Star-Line ferry wisking me to and fro. I will soon join my sister and we'll have a blast because your time on Mack is here at last! Do I have Mackinac Fever or what?
I am totally hooked on this place!

I dream of the days that I will return to mackinac island. It has always been a place of tranquility for me. In all my life I have never known such complete and utter beauty as the beauty I have witnessed on the island. I think for all of those who visit the island it creates for each of us special moments in time that can never be matched anywhere else...accept of course HEAVEN!

I've been to Michigan many times in the past. Mackinac is clearly #1 for me now! The staff at the Chippewa Hotel was great. I really felt relaxed for the first time in a long time. I'am going to tell everyone I know to visit. I can't wait to come back and stay longer.

We have visited there for the last 6 years and it just keeps getting better. We usually stay 4 nights and walk about 70 to 80 miles while on the island. We always walk around the island at least once during our stay. We stay at the Pontiac Lodge. Very cozy place to stay and very reasonable. Really enjoy all the landmarks, the food, the shopping, the walking, the fudge!, and all the sights, sounds and smells of the island. Would love to live there. Although my husband says I've never been there in the winter.

My wife & I spent our honeymoon on the island Sept 05. This was one of the best times that I have ever had. Even to this day I can't tell someone what it is really like unless you go there. Thank you for the great memories!!!!

Put some palm trees around, and you'd never know your not in Hawaii--Hawaii has nothing on Mackinac.
