I love it up on Mackinac Island!! I've worked there the last two summers and going back for a third! I really can't wait! Its soo much fun getting to know the people you work and live with and to be a regular. I love knowing where to go and what things are fun and stuff like that! I would love to live there... but it will be a while as I am in college. But hopefully one day!

Hi, I spent my last 3 summers on the Island. Each year I said that thats my last year. Never knew why, I have came back again. But this time it is pretty sure that it was my last summer there but now I sit in my room, getting ready to school for tomorow and thinking about the Island. I wanna go back so much. I miss my second mom Kathy and Derek. This Island is magic. I dont now why but it is.

It is so cold and blistery on this Thanksgiving day 2005. I was just remembering my time on mackinac island this past june. I think winter is ok, but there is nothing like spring and early summer on the island, I get warm just thinking about it. The aromas that fill the air, sitting on the boardwalk at dusk looking across the water at the MIGHTY Mack! There is no other place on earth that brings to me the peace and joy I feel being on mackinac. I want to live there someday.I miss my sis jul, I cannot wait to see her sweet face again. I love you jul, you are my favorite person ever!

192 days to go! Can't wait! All you Michiganders have a Merry white Christmas! You lucky people. It's the middle of November and I'm still wearing shorts and running my air conditioner. Now that's just not right. I miss the 4 seasons so much. Down here we have 1 and 1/2 seasons that is very hot! and hot! YUCK!!!

Just made my reservations for next year. We are looking so forward to coming back. We are going to stay in the City at the Grand View Resorts first. We love this little place. It has all the big hotels beat. If you have never stayed there you need to check it out you wont be sorry. Then we are going to the Island,we are going to stay at the Chippewa. We have stayed there before. There really isn't a bad place to stay on the Island. It's going to be a long winter,but we are looking forward to spring and our yearly visit to Mackinaw City and the Island.

June 2005 was the first time my family and I had gone to the Island. We were there for 3 days and it was far to short. This was the best trip we had ever been on and we all can not wait until we can go again. My grandma is 75 and hates to leave her house but when she went with us she did NOT want to come home and talks about went we can go back. We are HUGE Ohio State fans but, I would LOVE to move on the Island!!! Just make sure you bring a coat and pants!I LOVE MACKINAC ISLAND!!I plan to make it our family trip for every spring/summer.

It wont be long and I'll gone... to my little piece of Heaven on earth. I'll be there for 6 whole days... ooh my gosh I'll have it made...sit'n in the shade... sippn' on some lemonade....I can't wait for that day to come...I'll just sit here and twidle my thumbs...before you know it...I'll be there...sit'n in my rockn chair on the front porch of the Lake View Hotel...thanking God for getting me out of HE??

My husband Chris and I were married on Mackinac Island Sept 16th and found it so wonderful we want to do it again! Our guests were delighted with the location. We could never have found such a beautiful and romantic place anywhere else for our wedding and suggest it without a second thought for any couple considering a wedding on the Island.
