Mackinac Island is a dream, is the most beautiful and peaceful place on Earth...
I have spent 2 wonderful summers there, with more joy and love other people don't get in a lifetime...
I hope one day my children can experience that too!

Me, my son & friend Mac visited the Island last week...it was great!!! Especially taking the bike ride around the beautiful island....no cars...loved the horse carriage ride too...needed a break & that was (is) the place to go...hope to get there each & every year now!!!

We (my boyfriend, Steve, my daughter, Arianna, and I) came to visit last week for a couple of days. We came up on a bus trip...one of the things we did was the carriage tour...that was awesome! We also stopped at the Grand Hotel (we love the movie, Somewhere in Time) and feasted on the Grand Lunch Buffet...all I can say is "WOW!!" Just the three of us went back on Tuesday and we toured Fort Mackinac...very interesting! We also rented bikes and got to see other parts of the island. We were totally enchanted and can't hardly wait to come back again. The next time, we plan on staying on the island in a bed and breakfast! Lovely, lovely place!

We visited Mackinac Island for the first time last year which is ironic because we both grew up in Michigan. We were so blown away by its incredible atmosphere that we're returning to celebrate our anniversary again this year. It's simply the best.

My family (husband, 15 year old daughter, daughter's best friend & our puppy) vacationed on Mackinac for the first time this June ('07) We all loved it! It was very relaxing and fun for all--we will return.

I have been there last weekend, Such a wonderful place to spend time. If you enjoy riding bike, no other place than mackinac can give you great fun. But make sure you take a proper gear bike.

We were married on the island in 2004 and are returning for a family vacation next week. We love the atmosphere and waking in the morning to the clip clop of horse hooves.

Wanting to know what the weather will be like in mid April..thinking aobut going spring break. Thought about going this summer but expensive to fly from denver .
