I have been to the island a few times in the past ten years but have never stayed overnight. This year I am finally going to do it. My husband and myself will be stayine at the Main Street Inn in one of the suites along Main Street. I e-mailed many times with he youg lady who was working in the reservation center and she was most helpful and very pleasant. I am so looking forwad to this I can hardly ait for June.

Thanks, Mackinac.com, for this wonderful site. It is the next best thing to actually being there. Between visits to Mackinac I like to browse your site and read the guestbook, the whole time remembering how it feels to actually be there experiencing it in person.

Life get\'s so busy sometimes you need to step back and take a break. This is our place to do that. I want to get married on the Island (what better place). If you have not been here, you should make this the next vacation place to see... It is Great!!

I stayed at the Grand Hotel in 5th grade and it was fantastic. We had wonderful meals and saw Somewhere in Time and that is where it was made! I LOVE MACKINAC!

I stayed at the grand hotel on the island and it was devine! the island is beautiful, the ride on the boat to and back from the island is fun too. a great place to come for a vacation away from it all.

Mackinaw island is truly one of the most magical and romantic places on earth.Ive gone there many times and stay right on the island.My favorite place is \"the inn at mackinaw\" we are alawys treated like royalty.I treasure every trip up to the island and hope to have many more trips there.My favorite time on the island is at night when the day tourist go back to the main land and the island is not so crowded.It is like a dream land,somewhere in time..Love waking in the morning to the sound of horses holves clippity clopping and the most wonderful place on earth just waiting for you...
