Mackinac island is the perfect place to get away from absolutey everything. My family started going there about five years ago and we come back every year. The island is peaceful and provides a great place to sit and relax. This is a good vacation spot for people of all ages. I highly recommend it.

hello from Europe! I very need your help!!!! business in that my girl on a summer settled down to work in Mission Point. I very miss by it but possibilities to associate little, from a difference in time, and from that their chief forbids to use a postal address. is there possibility to write a letter or do a parcel on an island, so that they reached to Anne ( it is its name)????

The island is just beautiful! We expected it to be just as safe. We were highly disappointed to have my husbands bike stolen 2 hours after we arrived. Our fault for not locking it up infront of the gate house bar and grill, however, no one else did either. Live and learn I guess. Just a friendly reminder, no where you go is completely safe, including this paradise. Lock your belongings up....

We stayed at the Lakeview and ate at the Grand. What a grand island. The butterfly conservatory was delightful and of course we took home a box of fudge. We shall never forget The Great Turtle home od Manatou.

Thanks to Dave, Adam and Beth at Jack's Livery Stables for celebrating my birthday with me - one of the BEST I've had in a long time. Y'all were great hosts for my first visit to Mackinac, and I am taking many happy memories home with me - especially the ones in the pouring rain!
